 If you are looking for a 'get away from it all' holiday then this is definitely for you. The villa is located at the

 end of a road, at the top of a cliff, with amazing views out to sea and the most breathtaking sunsets.

 The pool and gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The villa was exceptionally clean and comfortable with

 everything one could possibly need and the welcome from Maria (the housekeeper) and her son was

 very informative and helpful.

 We were very lucky in early June to have wonderful sunny weather with no rain at all. If you can drag

 yourselves away from the fantastic villa the Madeira driving is challenging and scary but worth it. The

 levada walks are easy and flat and often take you through lush green forests and hills.

 I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

 Hi John,

 Yes we had a lovely stay, your villa was amazing the best we have stayed in and Madeira was very

 relaxing, the highlight though being our trip down on the Monte toboggan - brilliant.

 We miss being out there and we especially miss Cookie, such a lovable little thing, she was always

 there and one night when she failed to greet us we went searching for her to make sure she was

 alright!!

 Thanks again John and thanks also to Maria for keeping the villa spotless.

 We hope to return again one day
